Max George

Max's mother was always fascinated with spooky/scary stories and imparted this fascination to him as a kid. He was in love with the show “Unsolved Mysteries” and also couldn’t get enough of anything related to religion, mythology, lore, and the occult. The first horror book he remembers be truly enthralled with was The Thief of Always by Clive Barker. His true love of the occult and the horror genre really flourished, however, after a nasty divorce and a change in religion that deeply affected his life plan. Horror allowed him to find catharsis from his anxiety and stress of life and the occult filled in a spiritual hole that he had been looking to fill.

Max serves as the podcast's resident occult expert, spending his time reading grimoires, studying demonology and various religions, collecting occult artifacts, or trying his hand at performing rituals and reading runes and Tarot cards. He works in the medical research field.

His current horror obsessions are As Above, So Below, Hereditary, Midsommar, Rosemary's Baby, I Trapped the Devil, and Evil Dead.

Nathaniel Darkish

Nathaniel was a bit of a late bloomer when it came to the horror genre, not having the chance to explore it until he began voraciously tearing through every Stephen King book ever written back in high school. Since then he's read hundreds of horror novels, watched hundreds of horror movies and TV shows, and played dozens of horror video games.

He is a horror and fantasy writer and poet, currently writing his second horror novel. He is a high school English, Creative Writing, and World History teacher. When he's not writing, teaching, or podcasting, he's probably spending time with his wife and two children or reading a stack of books.

His horror obsessions are the literature of Shirley Jackson, Alien, Silence of the Lambs, Hereditary, the Hannibal and Ash vs. Evil Dead TV series, Silent Hill, Resident Evil VII: biohazard, Duma Key, and Lovecraft Country.

N.J. Gallegos

N.J.'s mother started her horror education early with Child's Play, thus cementing her mistrust of dolls. She grew up in Southern Colorado in an area famous for UFO activity and after seeing a mutilated cow in the flesh, became a believer. Goosebumps acted as her gateway drug into horror and after reading Stephen King's The Stand, she was hooked.

By day, she works as an ER physician and by night, a horror author who

especially enjoys Splatterpunk and medical horror. Her debut novel The Broken Heart dropped the Fall of 2023 and she's currently penning her second novel. She enjoys watching The Real Housewives franchises

with her wife and two cats, Theodore and Cat Bane. You can find her

running away from her problems and training for the zombie

apocalypse while listening to EDM.

Her current horror obsessions are: Malignant, Alien, the Saw series, Hellraiser, The Craft, It Follows, and The Mist.
